wheel arches for mk2 cupra (to hide the rust!!)

is there any genuine wheel arches for the mk2 ibizas? ive found some for mk3 and im wondering if they fit the mk2 and how easy they are to fit.

They fit the mk2 but the front ones have a small gap at the front. Very easy to fit.

how do you fit them? just bond them on? im fairly sure my car has been resprayed on almost every panel

they have these clever clip things that come with them.

well i must admit i never even gave this kind of thing a thought, the old brown death is starting to take its toll on my lola's rear arches, plenty of ku-rust on there but still lookiung a little tatty, this could be ideal and a damn sight cheaper than replacement panels.
has anyone got pics of these fitted, i am intruiged to see how they look, (sometyhing tells me they could look a lil bit saxo lol)

i may have to do the chav thing and paint arches, skirts and bumper a different colour to save trying to match kiwi yellow. im thinkin kiwi yellow and black work....... all my panels have been resprayed except for wheel arches!!

I've seen those aches from the Mk3 on a Mk2 Ibiza a good while ago..... looks good!

Guys by all means stick the arches on to cover the bad paint job, but what ever you do strip, rust treat and hammerite the arches first otherwise there won't be much left for your stick on arches to hold on to...................................................

ill actually be getting the grinder on the arches before hand and taking the inside edges off to stop them rubbing against the wheels then just coating them in antirust stuff.

Mine were fully rust treated before i stuck the arches on, only did it as i didnt want to spend 100's on getting a decent paint job done on them.

if u had the money, wat colour wud u respray it? i want to go for matt grey/ black to give it a stealthy look wen its lowered to floor

I'd keep mine the colour it is, it's fairly rare and i like it.

I think if I had to respray mine I think I would go for the Renault liquid yellow colour. I really like that colour.

angle grinder? P38? lol, i fully resprayed my car because my passenger door and wing got keyed, was copper now ford frozen white with bright red alloys, spoiler and wing mirrors.
