if they do a cupra tdi with the 170 lump then i will be ordering one in a flash.

Can;t believe they fitted the 2.0 tdi in the new ibiza, we all wanted it, but who actually thought it would happen, great engine and what a base for mapping, pray they offer the 170 cupra tdi

If they can fit the CR 2.0TDi i'm sure they could also fit in the 2.0FSI 210BHP.. Now that would be crazy! They map to 250BHP+

It'll never ever ever happen. It would be just too rapid for super mini (myself and other modifiers would argue not). If they knocked the power down that would defeat the object of the frugal 1.4TSi (180).

My seat dealer informed me that the cupra diesel will come out in 2011. Year after fr diesel!
Not sure if its true, but will be brill!

I think it will be a 6-speed manual with the 170BHP version of the CR2.0TDI. Should be very nice. Dont think it will be as fast as the petrol Cupra due to the extra weight etc, but it shouldn't be far off. The option of a manual will be a plus for most I should think.

Thats the least of peugeot owners problems! They have to deal with driving some of the most ugly new cars ever!! Bring back the 205/306/106!!

if they launch that, it goes my order (i know it wont be cheap but hey, should be worth it) and a manual box hmmm
