Yeh you did start the trend Steve! I was too lazy to put mine there I remember I fitted them in the middle of weather like we are having now just wanted them in!
CHeers for that mate, having done a search for the discount code ive decided to put my order in with HIDS4U, im yet to find anybody who's said a bad word about them.
True, people say they are too expensive but you get what you pay for I think.
Are you going for the H7R bulbs? I recommend them mate if you`re bothered about blinding people.

yeh i was going the H7R 6000k, £85 delivered with discount code, i think overall its the best option,
i've always spent more on a single mod and got good quality than lots of mods cheap as in the past, it always come back to bite me and ended up costing me more than it would have done spending that bit more in the first place, so im hoping the extra £25-£35 will be well spent here
Cool, need to know how to adjust them?
You will need to wind them upward on the adjusters after fitting and there is a calculation for aligning them.
Also I suggest getting some uprated main beam H3`s while you are at it, the main beam is thrown further after the adjustment so if you have decent bulbs you can see for miles.

nice one mate, any help is much appreciated, its the first set of HID's ive to any of my cars.
I think i will have to look into the main beam bulbs an all, if its the case of only a few ££ i may as well get them done as well, any perticular ones you would recommend??

what about some LED sidelights the halogens looks crap when you have the HIDs on?! I like many did not bother with main beam as I rarely use them and apparently they need time to heat up to be effective.

I haven't lol heard alot of stories of them not lasting long and as you will know the are right pain to change and they are not as cheap as normal bulbs either. But a few people have had them in longer now so I will get some at some point. In fact I think HIDs 4 U have decent ones.
As for led sides I`ve heard good things about the hids4u ones, and this type are good: clicky (known as SMD led`s). I`ve tried them and they are about 6000k I`d say so should match your hids nicely. Still going on GF`s mk3 after 6 months too.
