what do people think of these?

would be easier on wheel changes also as the wheel studs are part of them - expensive at £80 a pair

so much more than just buying new wheels

whats the difference with all these spacers than what halfords order in ?? appart from they dont come with longer bolts

The difference is crap from Halfrauds is usually a poor quality cast spacer that are not usually hubcentric and the good quality ones you get from other companys are hubcentric and usually designed for certain models not multi fit.

mine are machined and drilled from solid sheet, I've seen cheap cast ones crack......not worth risking cheap spacers on something important like this.

I'd go 15 on the fronts and 20 on the rears I reckon.

If you want to know what 15's on the front would look like have a look at the pics of me new wheels as there ET30 like yours would be.

15's look awfully close on the fronts and im quite low down on mine, lowered 50mm on LC and the top of the tyre must be about 2cm away from the front arch. Rear is slightly higher due to no weight in the boot.

Hmmm cant make up my mind!! arrghhhhh

Mines about 55-60mm and they dont rub with a ET30 so your ET45 with a 15mm spacer will obviously be the same.

I reckon you could go 20 tho as my old wheels were even wider and they never rubbed.

I'd say 15 front and 20 rear

Do you think they will rub the top of the arch liner with 20mm up front?

Also, do you get any issues with catching your front splitter mate?

I'm not to sure.......why not 15 front 20 rear? I reckon that would look pretty smart I'm thinking of spacing my rears out more.

My splitter is fine I've had hardly any issues with hitting stuff although I'm not stupid enough to go into multistory car parks etc where it would have issues.

Normal speed bumps are fine only problem I've had was the sills hitting a speed bump with 4 people in car.

Trying to save costs by purchasing that kit listed from ebay, its a 20 kit front and rear!

Thats good to hear about the splitter - do you have any probs getting on and off ramps in the garage for MOT or servicing time?

I do :cartman:

Which is why I bought coilovers :) Adjust them for garage work as it won't go up the ramp otherwise. When lowered the splitter is always rubbing on the driveway as I pull out and catches on speedbumps but only just.

Yeah same here I cant get on any 2 poster without a lot of hassle and I have to use ramps on the original ramps to get on a 4 poster.

its instant MOT fail if you can't get on ramp I think? Not a problem if you take it to garage with flush floor ramps.
