headlining cost about £200 apparently :ban:

Some on here bought the pillars and sprayed the roof lining instead (never gonna look good IMO!) unless you can find a scrapy selling but I have been trying for about a year and a half to find one!

Id buy the pillars, but i deffo wouldnt spray the headlining. Id just buy some nice black fabric and "Re-line" it... You can use spray glue and staples on the top to hold it in place...
Itd save you a fortune too! haha

With regards to insuring an evo, id be 21 when i got one (if i got one) so i dont inagine itd be that hard to insure... Its all a waiting game...

Won't actually bother doing it until it warms up either! Plus got to get the car to stage 2 remap but this will be my last job for the car. But wanted to buy something for the car this month but didn't know what and all that is left on my list other than remap is the interior and seat door sills.
Thanks Mick, will post pics of course when I do this job! :D

Thanks Damo!;)

I'm 18 and just bought a Formula Sport 1.4 (Can't wait till I get it :D it's like Christmas). I never really thought of insurance, just expected it to be the same as my current 1.4 sport. But even still it's gone up by £300!
Last year I paid £1500 full comp with no NCB, first car, just passed my test and with Coop Insurance.
But this year Coop Insurance have joined Confused.com and its shot up but £500!

I guess an FR is well out of my league till I'm 25! :(

How old are you mate?

depends which fr ;) i got the TDi 3yrs driving no ncb and its costin me £83p/m with Direct Line and im 22

EDIT: just done a mock with an FR 1.8T and it came back with £122p/m higher insurance groups for ya (quote thru confused.com)
