They were delivered day after they were paid for. I have no idea how to fit them. Does anyone live in the Cambridgeshire area and able to give me a hand? Or any online instructions i can print off and take out there to fit them?
Once in ill let you know how they are

I've mounted 6000k H7 HID's and it looks great in my Yello CUPRA. Other colors looks very ugly if it doesn't have "projector lamps" :-D

hi Ive read on a few places that HID lights go best with projector headlights

Anyone know if the mk4 2005 ibiza has projector headlights?

I think they where factory fit only... never seen them to be honest, a projector headlamp looks like such, think is for a Leon Mk2 / Altea the projector is the bit in the middle ....

Had a look at your readers ride, you have the same single lamp headlights that I have, menaing you need to buy a Hi/Lo Bi-Xenon kit, buy this one - >>> Clicky <<<.
Price is good too, you won't find it cheaper to be honest...

Got mine this morning, and just fitted them at my lunch break, few questions:

1) I had to take the caps off teh back on the lights obviously. Now I havn't put them back on as there are wires coming out. DO many people just lease the caps off, or what I was going to do is drill a big hole in the back for the wires to come out of?

2) Also Where are people's ballats/wires. I have pulled mine so they resting under each side of the bonnet lip thing (a photo would explain this better) One is nice and secure, however one will move about a little. I was thinking i'll just gaffertape it secure lol?

Ques 1) Drilled holes, poked wire thru, covered with gaffer tape for now...
Ques 2) Stuck the sides... having a 1.2 so I have acres of space

HID's Part 1

Right. After much reading and thinking I decided to install the HID's again.
H4 Bi-Xenon's - full beam versions.

To make sure it was all aligned properly I parked facing a wall, didn't move the car, installed the bulbs and checked the new bulbs where aligned ok.

it usually states in most of the instructions that come with the kits to drill a 25mm hole in the black plastic cover. and most come with grommets pre-attached to the wires?? ive got two ebay kits in mine, had them for 6 months and they are totally fine. paid around £75 altogether :)

Hi there new to the forum. Looking at the hids4u site they say h3 for the dipped, what's the difference between h3 and h7? Also would it be best going for the 5k or the 6k?

You need slim ballasts to do this though, and it helps if they are black.
