Ordered one yesterday morning been shipped already. I left the car running for 15 mins this morning and it was still frozen on the inside, then you scrape it off and it makes everything wet and brings back the condensation! Not just ibizas though other at work have had this happen but seems to be everyday on my car.

condensation on the inside is usually caused by a leak in the air-con system or a blown heater matrix

if your air-con or heater aint working then that's your cause (most likely)

pollen filter is less likely, and you can tell when your pollen filter isn't working properly when outdoor odours get into the car very easily (obviously with everything closed ;))

another less likely cause is damaged seals or water in the cabin...

as i said, check your heater and air-con is working properly before looking for anything else :) this has happened to 2 of my mates recently and is the most common cause

just bought one of these pingis before reading the good reviews about them on here, can't wait for it now, Not the most fun de-icing the inside and waiting 10 minutes before I can see out the windscreen!

My Pingi arrived today too so will report back :)

I ran vag last night and got this error

Dont know whether this is why my cabin is misting up ?

yep, as i mentioned a few posts above...your A/C has possibly blown

other usual suspects are heater matrix (if your heating doesn't work) or a blown fuse (where your fan stops working)

Heating works like a treat :) Aircon seems to work but I recal the garage saying there 'might' be a problem with the AC. So will need to speak to them.

Its the intermittant bit that gets me on the VAG read out. Lots of other people have different numbers in their readings. Mine states 000 where as lots of the other readings i have seen say 35-00 --

Think mine is the door seal am sure, but maybe it is just the car seems too many of us have this issue! Got my pingi today, it is just really a bag of silica gel I guess, left it in the car overnight on the dash hope it works! Car will be in for service soon may get them to look at the door seal on the passenger window as it is sticking out and my air con was re charged late int eh Summer and my heater works fine.

Put my pingi in yesterday evening and have definitely seen an improvement. Still a little bit of condensation only tiny think patches. It also looks very cool [B)]

same thing really, the pingi seems more popular as they can be recharged. There prob are more effective things but this is cheap and cheerful. Mine has been in a week, okay only actually drove in to work once cos of snow but there was only a tiny bit on very thin ice right at the top of the screen so I am pleased.

My one arrived this week and I put it in the car yesterday and it was better today. It'll be interesting to see what effect it has had early tomorrow morning for the station run.
