Lots of money going to be getting spent this year.

Speaking of lists I have done many, the first few scared me so have had to be cut back.
So many things to do with so little money:(

project 300's shopping list

I'll be doing the following;

1) Hybrid ko3/4 turbo, manifold, injectors, maf etc etc (got 1/2 the parts already)
2) fit an EVC + limiter/launch control
3) Move battery to spare wheel well
4) build a new induction kit/airbox with all that extra space
5) Remove more weight and got dash Flock'd
6) 1/2 cage
7) Carbon shell buckets (already have + LUKE harness's already fitted)
8) new paint for the engine bay
9) Limited slip diff (Quaif most likely) car's only covered low miles so will use current box
10) new front bumper (poss lcr or just a modded lc item)
11) new brakes all round (4-6pots + floating discs)

I thinks thats more than enough for 2010?? it may not all happen in that order 1,2,3,4 & 7 will all happen before GTI international 2010. hoping to vastly improve last years 1/4 mile time... some of it also depends on when Redline want the car for a photoshoot as i'm still waiting to get dates.

Got the remap and clutch in 2009, so I'm happy with the performance. Next thing is handling, saving up either for decent coilovers or a decent shock/spring combination, new top mounts, various new suspension bushes as I'm sure mine are past their best by now!

best money you will spend is on ARB's -- mega difference! only really need to polly the rear of the wishbones so save some dolla there and some spherical bearing top mounts and good coilys and she'l handle a dream

After my "i wont be doing anything to this car" speech when I bought it, getting totally blown out of the window. Ive got the following planned for the next 6 months....

Front R32 front Arb
Rear Arb
Replace boost piping
Cat Back Miltek maybe Turbo back with some 2nd hand joy

Stage 1 remap in 2 weeks.

And for the end of the year...

FMIC
Stage 2
Uprated brakes all round

And if there enough money left in the pot (which there wont be) I need to work on the styling lol

I just have a remap planned, maybe a new exhaust if I can stretch to it :)

If I was you mate, save for the TB exhaust first and then get the remap to get the most from the remap :)

unless you are just saving for a new backbox and already have TB system

2010 is probably going to get expensive for me as its time to get my home built MNR Vortx on track which in itself is expensive at £100-150 per event, insurance on top and before that it needs some new mods;

1) easily removable arches
2) power commander RR session
3) get the garage floor surface level so i can take the geometry more seriously and invest in some new equipment to aid accuracy
4) double up on the original R1 clutch spring to increase clutch pressure and reduce slip
5) try some halfords 5.1 fluid as its dirt cheap on trade so i can change it before events
6) new front pads as wilwood smart pads have a very wooden feel
7) new fan switch, tunnel mounted to make it more accessible.

As for the Leon
1) get a replacement Piper backbox under warranty as the 2month old one has more rust on it than the 5 year old original one!
2) dog bone mount
3) R32 arb and a smallish rear arb to suit
4) mud flaps
5) brembos could do with a full repaint as i lacquered them last year but the damage had already removed some of the red paint

Too late! I have been really confident with the leon in this cold wintery weather especially since the addition of the Goodyear Assymetrics but the MNR has no ABS or traction aids which woke me up this morning on a fast left hander where the road was in the shade and still frosty but damn the engine was running sweet in the crisp air :)

hahah...corsa sxi brand new...im shocked how bad vauxhalls are, dont get me wrong its nippy, but there are flat spots everywhere...change gear and the car holds back..seats are hard, steering light..its light years away from the build quality of the LCR...new isnt always better..

wanna achieve the majority of my mods by April time, then the car should be finished and my bank manager will be happy with me then....
