i hav parada spec 2's all round on mine, they are wearing pretty well so far and in the dry are 2nd to none, however in the wet, they're not tht good, but funnily enough on the snow they are pretty passible. look good to.

Toyo's, either T1R's or Proxy 4's.

Camskill were doing them roughly £50 per corner.

just had a set of Proxy 4s fitted, £280 all in which didn't seem bad. had Parada Spec 2s on the Focus and they were real good in the dry, just didn't seem that keen on standing water

ive recently had falken fk452's fitted to mine, £248 fitted and balanced for 4 at my local tyre fitter. Pretty good so far, much better in snow than the goodyear eagle f1's i had before lol.

The 452 is falkens top line tyre, and it offers the best value for money imo. Heard bad things about both toyos and yoko's in the wet, even though they cost more. Eagle F1s are one of the best you can buy imo, but they cost a fortune. I've found i've got 90% of the performance for 50% of the cost of eagles.

the pzeros are pretty bad, most tyres allow you to push to the limit and give you alot of feel, them pirelles grip and then let go, especially in the wet. just not progressive enough

i had a set of t1r's lasted 3months, they dont have a reinforced side walls so the edges get ripped to bits with the heavy front end. im running prada spec 2's now, seem to be last alot better, not as good as the t1rs in the wet but lots better in the dry.

Ive got T1r's on at the moment. Grip in a straight line is good (not excelent) and round corners is OK. In the wet they arnt that great, but still more than safe. I find the sidewall WAY too soft and that affects the handling in a bad way. For the price they are a good tyre, but next time I will try somthing else. Wear seems to be OK aswell.

I have just ordered some Hankook V12's to replace the rainsport 2's (which are superb!). The 12's are good according to reviews, cheaper as well.. I figure worth a try,

I swear by Rainsports and won't put anything else on my cupra tdi it helps that I get 215/40/17 @ £74/corner fitted :)
Tried Hankook Ventus Sport in the past and found them to be average.
