Yes all later 1.4's were multipoint injection, but the throttle body does look a hell of a lot like a carb on these tbh. Get some carb cleaner and blast it through with the engine running, the oil is from the breather pipe which is attached to the air box, its a **** design, clean it out and re route the oil breather into a mini filter and catch tank.

You don't have to do the latter but will save you cleaning it out again in about 6 months

Yep thats what I am doing. Have everything I need sitting to be connected up and fitted, just not got around to it yet.
