suspension question

I was just wondering if anyone knew what the suspension bolts that are visable from inside the engine bay actually bolt into? The bolts i am on about are the 3 that are on the top of the strut tops on the front. The reason i am asking is that one of mine is knackered and the thread that the bolt goes into is knackered, so i was wondering do the bolts go into the actual suspension legs or is there a mount between the suspension and the body?

My car has kw varient 1 coilovers on it and am obviously wondering if its these that are going to need attention or if its a simple fix with a standard seat part.

Cheers Mark

Ps is there an online manual somewhere?

Yeah its bin awsome upto now no issues which i thought i would of at least had a few iam in the middle of fitting gt3076 to it for a little more power smoother entry as well and i'am going to run it through the summer then next winter y its off the road the plan is to fit another engine in the back but c how things go with new turbo for now as grip is a big issue youll have to give us a shout if your doing some track days cos ill b defo up for it

Ye sounds good, i'll be doing as many trackdays as possible next year, either on the bike or in the car. I cant imagine how your car must drive cause mine is a handfull and in all honnesty to much for the car. I wouldnt mind having a go against you to see what the difference is in straight line pace and see how much difference a **** load of weight saving makes in the real world compared to just throwing more power at it as i am probably down 100bhp on you

Yeah sounds gd mind mines also stripped out with lots of things removed and loads more to rip out as well last time i had it weighd it was less than a tonne i remember lookin at yours when si had it and he removed alot of metal off the shell so i can only assume yours will b alot lighter lol but thats whats its all down to at the end of the day power to weight :D so a ruff i dear 460bhp per tonne is alot compared to evo , scooby , skyline with same power but weighs alot more ialso raced a 55 plate bmw m5 and absolutly left it he couldnt believe how much differance it was just shows how much weight pulls off over big power

Ye i know what you mean about power to weight but there comes a point at hight speeds where more power out weights having less weight.

I think mine was weighted at 930kg but i have a cage in now but will be cutting even more out of the car where i can. Looking at it there is loads of weight in the boot that can be shed and the rear end of the car nd even some more in the doors maybe depending on how mad i want to go. I might not even put the dash back in cause i was supprised how heavy that was when i got it out.
