no ideas mate , there was a thread kicking around for fan sprays from ibizas etc

as for screenwash the more neat you put it the better protection you get even down to fully neat stuff

cant advise on paintwork tho ,

let me know how you get on with changing your washer jets, as yesterday morning i had my passenger jet freeze up so only half my windscreen was getting cleaned! I stopped at the services, sprayed some de-icer on it and it worked fine after that!

Its really easy too change the washer jets, and there's no wiring under the scuttle panal, just the water hose you will need to retro fit the jet wiring, or find a wiring diagram. i have changed mine to the fan type and i have had no problems with the washers freezing dont know if its just luck or what.

Stop using the ready mixed screenwash, it's rubbish. It even stained the paint on my van plus it always goes streaky.

i use the ready mixed from halfords and have had absolutely no issues ever at all.

guys, i have the new heated ones, but bonnet is being an arse. catch releases but still stuck so cannot open.
Will try and look at changing tomorrow, after soaking in wd40 in the morning

just that this morning it took nearly 35min to defrost so i could use them.
Halfords blue one to be exact. should stay liquid to -5 on the bottle and no idea how cold this morning as the onboard temp gauge needs 5min to get an accurate reading and it only said -4 anyway

i use the ready mixed from halfords and have had absolutely no issues ever at all.

I'd say that the screenwash freezing was an issue. A dangerous and potentially fatal one.

Can you get heated fan jet ones? or are these just like the oem 2 jet type but heated?

Does any one have a part number for heated fan jet type? like the Ibiza?

so whats the easiest way to access the pipes under the jets then? Either the hose has come off my jets or the hose has split!
