The Sportrider was a run out special edition available on a 08/58 plate - these will still be under warranty so you should have no real concerns - just check it's been serviced in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines

Having had a sportrider, Promise you its the best car I've ever had. After a remap 700miles to a tank.
Go straight for stage 2 power+ New clutch I wouldn't go stage 1 TDI its just not worth it you'll only want more.

My PD100 Sportrider dyno'd at 120bhp and remapped to 150bhp (Stage 1)
I ended up selling mine so I could go cupra

Plus points: MUCH more torque, you won't feel like an idiot when overtaking

Negs: Not speaking from experience, i've heard the ride is slightly firmer, and I know this engine makes the Polo nose heavy, probably less so in this :)

Thats impressive, 700 miles to a tank, i would save loads £ from that :D . Test drove it and i really want it, feel so much better  , just got to sort out the funds. I think i will go straight for stage 2 if i get it insurance permitting of course.

I didnt have to worry when over taking unlike my 1.2 :funk:. The ride did feel alot firmer but its only got 8k on the clock and im used to a really bouncy ride in my 1.2 ( need to check that out).

What sort of price would be good for a 08 plate with just under 9k on the clock.
They currenlt want £8250

Who needs a remap?

With regards to the car - I had a PD100 Ibiza Sport - it was a great little car. One thing to bear in mind is the crashy ride - the Leon FR I have now is slated by many for being unbearably crashy - it's day and night better than the Ibiza ever was in my opinion

Thats standard with that many miles to a tank. It definatly felt so much better than my 1.2 for ride quality, so i will be happy with that.

Its numberplate isnt CA08 PWJ?
I sold mine with just 9000K on it, Black Magic paint job.

Nope it wasnt, the plate was BU08 cant remember the rest, but it was white and looked amazing, i would like black if i could find one.

Yep - that was fully standard - obviously you have to drive with economy in mind - but it is possible

I was expecting that, but it would still be a good ammount even if you had a heavy foot on the odd occasions and lost a few miles, More than my 1.2 i mean.
