yea you should be fine, it's very thin stuff and heat up the edges and press them down so they are nice and um..... tight!

I snapped one of the clips on my mirrors off, they were quite brittle..... luckily I had some spares already.

Don't do the mistake I did too, look at the 'weave' of the vinyl and make sure you wrap the mirrors in opposite ways so it looks better, I re did one of mine so it's all sorted now.

thanks for the tips :)
im going to pop down to the local dealership tomorrow and ask how to take most of the interior parts out, like the inside door handles, the center console thing and the mirror covers.
Are you doing anymore parts on the car mate?

what model do you have?

i've done the mirrors, interior door handle trims in carbon fibre,

centre console, climate control and speedo trim 'thing' are going to be dyed in matt black (I think), with the led's re-soldered at the same time (hopefully over the xmas break)

then the bonnet trim, roof and rear bumper trim (and maybe 'S' badges on the front grille and boot opening) to be done in gloss black vinyl as mentioned earlier.

Then I put it all down never to touch it again before overdoing it and ruining the look.
