Been outside working for 3 hours now and have just warmed up, all hoses are on, charge pipe and installed the sensor for my boost guage, tapped into the dump valve hose and the sensor is tied just below fuel hoses on drivers side, have routed and tied the cable upto the bulk head and just need to take scuttle pannel off, 1 to re-wire side repeaters, and 2 to route the cable through properly into the cabin and seal anywhere that needs it. Also put MAF on, got the AIT sensor plug sorted and put airbox and airfilter in and screwd, just need to get the cable trunking on when i have time. Battery is being charged up as we speak too. I know its taking ages but im t aking a laid back apporach to this job lol as i really cant be botherd to rush it :)

1St 10 mins you really feel it then your fine for about 1 and half hours then you start to loose feeling in your feet but i dont give up :)

 Warming up now I bet. When I've been for a run or played footy in this weather a really long hot shower sorts me out loads. Tingling fingers and toes to start but soon thaws you out!

:) Keep up the good work.

Calipers are are bled up n/s rear and clutch, and o/s rear wont bleed up what so ever no fluid coming though so i recon where the hose has been clamped off its collapsed so need to price up a hose tomorrow as it needs bleeding up Pedal is still spongy needs MC bleeding too but thats least of priorites. Had to dig snow out round the car it was that bad.

Here is a quick pic of the bay:

Impressed that you're working through this weather Shaun! That's dedication mate.

The guy who did my brakes had no end of problems. Apparently you have to bleed (under pressure) all of the callipers (two nipples on each front calliper one on each rear calliper), the brake master cylinder (two nipples) and one on the clutch slave cylinder, all in a particular order. Apparently some people also find that you need to use VAG-COM to open the ABS valves or something and bleed it like that. It's all gibberish to me, and I didn't do it (so ignore any advice I would every give on it) but that's how I understood it

I have a hand vaccum pump and ive built up a hight vaccum and opend it and its pulling nothing through so i think the hose is crushed as it was clampepd for a few days. So i need to price up a new hose, rest has bled up ok, still got fronts to do aswell. Might get an eezebleed to use with my vaccum pump too.

Oh, one other thing; I know yours and mine aren't exactly the same, but both of my bridge pipes on the callipers had to be replaced, and one of the link pipes on the brake lines. We actually had new ones made up by a local engineering company. I think we paid £25 for all three

Um, no, the the pipe that links each side of the Brembo, and the solid one that the flexi attaches to (not sure I'm making any more sense). All on the front as I was having the Brembo's serviced

Rear hose is going to be about 40 quid grrrrr, i hate these cars with a passion, you have to buy some of the metal pipe aswell, why cant you just buy a bloody flexi hose :S
