Hi Guys,

Need a bit of advice, have done some searching on here but cannot find what im looking for.

I have a 2004 LC Leon 180 and ET45 alloy wheels which rub on full lock, would putting spacers on make this happen more or less?

Only get slight rubbing when on full lock or when I have +4 up in the car?

Also - what kind of spacers would you recommend? Thoughts and help please :ban:

Putting spacers on will move the wheel out, so could cure it, but too wide a spacer might mean you catch on the wing/arch instead of the inner wheel arch cover. Got any pics?

Ohh right, where can I get these?

I have 8 x 18" S8 audi replica alloy wheels

Yep 10mm spacers will stop it rubbing on the chassis leg unless your so low its actually hitting the top of the arch?

My 8.5x18's are ET33 and dont rub so a 10mm spacer should sort you out.

I expect some forum sponsors sell them, you'll need longer bolts to.

I've fitted 20mm hubcentric spacers all round on my leon and lowered it some more, the ride height and stance is stunning, so aggressive, and no rubbing issues.

If I were to choose rear or front I'd do the rear

I'm running 20mm spacers all round with ET45 wheels. LCR though and the Brembo clearance space was needed.
No issues, even when lowered.

No sorry I don't have any pics at the moment. My wheels are just inline with the arch edge though.

My Mrs recons she has heard some rubbing while on full lock I’ve never noticed it. I’ve got a totally standard LC you recon I would be getting rubbing with standard wheel and suspension?

----------
edit: Actually the previous owner has put 225/45/17 tyres on it I believe the Leon should have 215's on it so it’s not totally standard

check your inner wing liner. mines come loose before and rubbed on wheel. the plastic screws that hold it together are a bit crap.

225 tyre is the correct size for the leon.
