Im sure with all the parts off my LCR i could build one in my house, mum goes mad when more stuff comes off it

I know the feeling mate, have the exact same at mine....:D However all of my tuning work is done on my bros drive and all the neighbours get the hump as I tend to make alot of noise whilst doing it and afterwards!!!

Well today all the drivers side was built up and intercoolers on, started on wiring loom repair, battery in and alarm has gone mad so had to buy a new keyfob and its being coded soon. Also just finished working on it done the wheel bearing, finally got the ******* carrier bolt off after 3/4 a hour and a hack saw, then had to heat and chilsel remains of old bearing off. Just got back caliper to go on tmoz, bleed all brakes and clutch up and thentrack rod end.

Well today repaired coil loom, chopped it off the loom that came with new engine as it was mint, and started to put me boost guage in. Also got the disc off the rear bearing, just need a new carrer now as its shagged. Then can bleed all brakes.

Also went to turn it over today to prime the oil curcuit and fill the new cooler/filter etc so i can top it up for the big start and i turned the key and nothing, obviously before hand i double checked it and it cranked by hand fine. So i think ive missed an earth somewhere or a connection as it didnt even attempt to spin no clicks or nout, yey hids work and radio etc. Will have to double check everything tmorrow, also for some odd reason the AIT sensor plug is just a bit short so need to get that to fit or work out where ive got the plugs mixed up, thats all thats left to be connected now. I feel that ive put the AIT plug on knock sensor 2 and left that plug for IAT, but as with wiring only 1 plug reaches each sensor realistically so somthing is wrong. Any how daily update over, il report back tomorrow.

well i found o ut what the problem was and it was the wire from ignition i had to crimp a spade connectore on due to the plug breaking and forgot to crimp it enough and the wire jus poped out, shouldent have put water in as i have ice in the top hose now :( i turned it quickly aannd it spun slowly as battery is dead. I should imagine on a deat battery it would of not turned if pump was iced up. just hope that there is no ice on the water pump so untill weather warms up i got no chance of starting it, no idea how to get the ice out like :( maybe take hose off and pour warm water in and a bit of antifreeze?
