Lol well I have a 3 door mk3 Ibiza, and I just force everyone to get out of the passenger side, at least with the mk5 the passenger seat will move forward as well

i have a 3 door, and i never get out to let passengers in or out, they have to use the passenger side door

i thought that was an unwritten rule of the taxi service =P

dave, just think of all those peoples dirty shoes clambering over and around your interior and scuffing your lovely new leather seats as they struggle to get out of the opposite door in such limited space.

Damn you just ruined it for me, i guess i will just have to tell people to take there shoes off before they get in haha

shoes have to be taken off every time before entry, regardless of weather conditions, it could be snowing for all i care! i was tempted to make this a rule in my car when i first got it haha. don't want any mud on my nice carpets. i'm open to the odd bit of mud, grit now though. can't be bothered till summer comes again. i'm sure your seats will survive dave don't worry

No probs and you're right I was trying to stir it up too!

Day after I got my car I sat in the back, via the passenger side but behind the driver's seat. Apart from foot cramp almost immediately, I thought that I would never get out again!

5dr's more practical for 'load' carrying, but for my work it had to be the 3dr because of the improved rear side visibility.
