No one sells or wants anything to do with them over here.
You retain the waterlines.

But People will always remeber the bad things about items never the good ones its a proven fact....
The Gt2x Hybrid will make more power than a k03x hybrid Period as have robdons with and without methanal...You'l just have to wait abit longer for it the k03 units feel quick as they spool up soooo quicker were the Gt2x hybrid doesnt..

Tbh mate i don't thing you'l be disapointed with the Gt2x Setup...

Pffft...

Don't Be off put by the massive amount of hatters of the GTx2 Hybrid...I had One on mine and it was truely awesome was running 285bhp+ and wasnt shy...To Solve the lag it has a full 3'' Tip is needed as i was on full boost 1.5bar At 3820rpm....

The Stock Gt2x is poor by far but a Hybrid Ftw...Me & Rob had ares running spot on and it was awesome id say go for it if the price was right....
I know Bill hates the ATP Gt2x But its a good Turbo Yet the K03x hybrid will spool up sooner alot sooner but the gt2x will have more Bhp than the K03x versions...

Danny, I for one know, as many others on here that your statement above is very hazy indeed, and is unfair for others trying to decide on the GT2x with what you have stated

I dont believe you ever had your GT2X RR? did you? prove me wrong please?

also 3820rpm on full boost?

as a comparison a hybrid k03 will be near on full boost at 2800-3000rpm and near on hold till the redline - begs the question why you would ever bother with a GT2X with that kind of lag, yet it pulls similar figures against a hybrid k03....

also if it was that spot on, explain why you suddenly ditched the setup and went for another turbo?

also the TIP is not an "off the shelf" type either and is fiddly i.e. a custom job to what should be a simple install to this turbo (therefore far removed from a bolt on type TIP you can get from Forge as you can get with a hybrid k03)

however, regardless to what I have said above, you have summed it up in one perfect sentence

"Don't Be off put by the massive amount of hatters of the GTx2 Hybrid" - you gotta ask yourself the most important question. Why there are so many?

speaks volumes....

How can you even consider leaving a comment like that when yours was put together by some School boys...Cheek of it...

I never Needed to give it a RR there was no need i Changed the turbo setup for ''MORE'' Power even someone like you with all this Simple Knowledge would know that...

Well Consider How many people Ditched the GTX2 for other Items for example you....Yours only made 272bhp am i correct and yet it wound'nt boost or Hold boost correct?

My Setup was done through StarPerformance As was robdons and we've never had a Problem with the setup Even Rob will back me up on this...Il admit the Gt2x is laggy and its a lazy turbo but the Hybrid version is tottally different..

Il look throuhg my Build now and find find the actaul log of me and curzon when it acheived full boost with a Full 3'' tip on at 3820rpm..

"Southern monkeys", what does that have anything to do with the discussion? Ive met a few northern ones in my time, so lets leave location out of it and stay ON TOPIC :D

GT2X sounds pants to me and going by what i have read and comments heard, sounds like a fat lazy turbo. Wouldnt put one any where near my motor

Not being funny Danny (always had a bit of respect for your car), but how can you say "there was no need" for a RR?

EVERY modified car needs to be RR'd to prove their figures/claims

well i could get the GT2X HYBRID for around £700 with a manifold and custom tip its of off cupraelliot on here he brought it from some one else on here but for the £700 i could buy a ko3 hybrid i think and bit of money to put towards the new manifold:lol: wat should i do then just bite the bullet and be like every one else and go ko3 hybrid

Hybrid k03/4 is the sensible approach
GT2x wont just fit... it will need extra mods to make it work well enough to achieve its claimed figures, as the TIP is abysmal

Its a lazy unit, which eventually spools up to produce there or there abouts hybrid figures..
Hybrids spool faster, produce more torque, and bolt on

If you are still in doubt after knowing this, just toss a coin in the air, as judgement has nothing to do with your decision

AVOID is my professional advise
