hi buddy, hows things? got them from my local auto shop, cost £20, no cheapy ebay numbers, my bro has the same set aswell, he had them in his mk4 golf, astra and now his typeR so they last well, ebay ones tend to not last or just be cheap things tht u might get a few months out of, i would 100% pay £20 for these ones again

If you buy headlight bulbs (or spend over £15) at places like Powerbulbs or Autobulbs Direct you get blue sidelight ones free. I think with Autobulbs you have a choice of normal blue or LEDs. I hope this is what you are talking about. If not I'll just shut up about bulbs.

if its going to a garage mate it doesnt matter what u've done to it...all that matters is mileage and age... so about 3.5k to a garage and maybe 3-4k privately?

He'd be lucky to get that from a garage! I asked how much they'd give me for mine about a year ago. 53 plate with about 40k on the clock then, PD130 (apparently ) Ibiza Sport.....

Best thing to do would be to enter your car details on autotrader and see what comes up...

For example, search for a 1.2 12V Ibiza around the 03 plate age and see what prices come up, then add a bit more on top of that for you mods and you have a price.

If it is any help, there is an 04 plate 1.2 up for sale in my area...gray, similar to yours with the cupra bumpers, exhaust and TT comps up for £3000. 80,000 miles, whatcar reckons it's worth £2200 standard (private).

yeh i want a pd130, cant really afford the swap just now, but in preparations for it....just wanna know how much i theretically need to save to get a decent year and milage one, with my car funding alot of the new one. probs try get one for about £4500-5000

so eg. i get £3000 for mines and save £1500 theres £4500 + (insurance price needed aswell)

really want a faster motor, ideally wanna strip it back to standard coz i want the cupra bumpers etc to go on new beeza

yeh....just washed the car and looks minted if i do say so myself, thats just a wash and a valet inside. pinging!! makes me wanna keep it but its soo slow haha, had a wee friendly race last night with a mate of mine with a 1.2 corsa completely standard, wiped him out haha, i thought he wudda won as hes running on steelies and the car is light, but nup even with the alloys etc i got a good 1-2 car lengths away, haha
