Hi, i am new to the forum, i ordered my car in mid october, 1.4 SE SC in Emocion Red, with Ipod Dock, Dark Window Tint, Lecky Mirrors, 16"Sonda Alloys and Alarm as options, im looking forward to getting the car although ive just been thinking over the past few days about room, im not fussed if its not possible but do you know if its possible to change from SC to 5dr as i dont think the car has started to be built yet, ive been told week 3 and i understand things can still be changed at this point, but does that also mean that i could change between SC and 5dr ?, Many Thanks for your help.

erm.. I think it is unchangable. If the production started, return wouldn't be possible, because it is a special order.

But, you may have a chance to do so, before your options installed. So that your 1st ordered car may be produced as a normal "ordinary" car. Give it a try :)

3dr SC everytime! Had a 5 door courtesy car for a couple of days and door pillars were in my blind spot (No, I'm only 6') and I had to climb around them to get out! Also you have much better rear side visibility in the SC. But as Veyron said, just look at the SC and the 5dr is a bit of a dork!

nah, the roof slopes slightly too much on the SC and so throws the proportions/balance out for me.
plus the practicality of 5 doors as i use the rear seats for storage more than the boot

indeed, it's be an awefully boring world if we all drove round in candy white Boca's with tinted windows and convenience packs

Seems everyones going for Boca's at the moment ;) so soon those of us with Mk5 Ibiza, 1.6 cr-tdi Sports will be the discerning elite  I must admit that I do miss the rear doors to put coat and papers on the back seats and the easy access passenger seat is not that easy if you forget to lower the head restraint [:@].

So each to his/her own, I'm keeping my 3dr!

I think so. I am just 20, I should be fancy of 3 doors cars but, in real, 5 doors are more practical. So that, I choosed 5 doors one.
i agree, thats why i went for the 5dr. theres no escaping the fact that in reality, there is nothing truly sporty about the 85bhp 1.4 sport and that 'sport coupe' in plain english just means 3dr. they are both very smart looking, sensible cars that are cheap to own. thats why i went for one. however i just decided that in a car such as this, i would at least want the practicality of 5 doors.
