damn HIDs are confusing

i thought bi xenon was for cupras with two deflectors, :|

No for a cupra you need to buy to sets at high and low beam are different bulb fitments.

FFS another person thats going to be driving around with fog lights on.

Dont you know they are little help and it is illegal to use them unless it very foggy.
Highway code suggests fog lights are used when visability is less then 100 yards. Thats pretty damm foggy.

im not gonna have my foglights on 24/7, just on backroads, its bad enough i have to travel on new year half way around my country on roads i never been on.

Hopefully you will find you dont use your fogs like a chav when you have the hid's as the brightness is second to non.

wow. that is a lot of driving. not too well up on the roads in galway, mayo etc but id say they arent great.

just a quick suggestion. it may be required to re adjust the headlights with the adjusters under the bonnet. it does state that you may have to do it in the instructions that should come with your HID's.
either park up to a wall and lift em up slightly or have them checked at an MOT place. but many people dont find they have to do this. but just fort i would mention it

Yeah Thx For Suggestion, I Usually Use The Cheap Halfords Fake Xenon Bulbs
So All The Help Is Appreciated
Car's NCT (mot) is Up In January So I'll Be Getting It Fully Seriviced So lights Will Be Adjusted

What temperature have you gone for by the way? 8000k is very blue and makes everything look icey

6000k is my prefered look.. very white with a bluey tint it's what I got anyway...

anyone find driving in white/light fog with HID's is rubbish?

where can i just buy 1 xenon bulb from in the uk? ive had my kit about 6 months now and 1 bulb has just died on me so need another i have 6k ones on at the mo and want to keep them as they give off much better light than standard.
