just dropped the car for its first service since owning, bar a little oil and filter change a little while ago,

anyways, over the phone, said it needed;

new lower arm or summin
new rear brake pads
quite a few bushes
and i think she may have said about the top struts? cant remember

their also doing the pollon filter, oil and filter.

with a grand total so far of £449.

yeah it bloody better be, lol,

asked if they could replace any of the bushes needed with uprated one aswell :D

atleast ill have peice of mind afterwards.

Is that through a Seat Dealer?

When I asked about uprating parts i.e. water pump through a dealer near me 1) They couldn't source the part 2) They said even if they did it wouldn't be covered under there 2 year warranty.

no mate, they mainly deal with performance fiats and alfa's.

pick up the car on friday, all washed and cleaned :D

new rear brake pads
new near side front inner and outer cv gaiters
new front lower arm rear bushes
wheel alignment
and a general service,

nice to know i kind of have peice of mind that most things are ok now :D

Car looks great mate and sounds very nice too :) Haha, I know what it's like going down back roads to get pictures/video clips, having a black car doesn't help, I'm always cleaning mine :D lol

i recommend not doing this if you want to do it properly and removing the lock, as it now doesnt lock :D

Was just on the way to go see some alloys in peterborough when the the coil pack went, garage just phoned and i now have a lovely bill for £109 :( fantastic, especialy after the bill fo rthe service this month aswell of £490. Not impressed.

£80 labour? Does it really take ~ 2 hours to replace a coilpack?

Other day I paid £100 to fit a front ARB, supply and fit inner and outer cv gaitors.

Seems all of our CV gaitors have gone tits up recently lol
