Engine mount?

hi,

i have a ibiza mk3 with GT2871R turbo running around 370bhp..

im not sure if its the engine mount but.. i was drivin normaly.. then all of a sudden my car bounced.. like i fort i went in a pot whole but everytime i let go of the rev or change gear the car jumps an stutters?..

so now its runnin around the 370bhp mark.. i need a strong engine mount so which one should i get if i can get advice please..

oh and where can i get 5w 40 oil from? halfords dont sell it in my area..

where do i get them from bro? and how long will it take to arrive? and by the way this is matts old car.. i brought it off a guy in south wales called jamie jj_arosa on forums.. but hes banned on here for some reason duno wha he done lol

Yeh i remember JJ on here. You can get them from Badger5, he has a section under the"trading section", there is a sticky thread near the top'ish with prices etc

Is your car silver with D90's and Porsche brakes? Or im a thinking of another cupra he had?

na bro its the yellow one around 370bhp or somthing i aint sure he said it was 384bhp but ill get in rollin roaded couple times at different places and see.. thanks alot tho bro!!

oh and bro.. i aint sure do u think its the engine mount what has caused this? so it will cost Fast Road - £125, Race - £136

Not sure about which one to go for. Your best posting up in that thread i sent you or PM'ing or ringing Bill directly to see what he recommends.

One other thing, i'll tell you before someone else has a go, but if you have a problem or question, try using the search button, chances are if you have had a certain problem someone else would have had the same one, so searching is a good idea.

Welcome dude.

I was thinking about swaping my cupra for that one till i heard about the problems its had this year ie. leaky manifold and it bend a rod i think, glad i never.... nice spec tho.

sounds like engine mounts to me m8, i spoke to the guy who owned it before you jj he said its cost him 10k since he bought it!!! and it has a 180 mph+ final drive init

Not having a good time since you got it it would seem. Phone Bill and have a chat with him. Might be worth booking it in for an hour check over to see if he can see any issues as it has been through the mill abit since matt built it and wasnt without its problems when jamie had it.

Couldn't agree more. Vibra-Technics fast road mounts from Badger 5, sorted Certainly do the job with my hydrid setup.

wouldnt mind a butchers at your car, collecting parts for hybrid at the moment,

I remember that car when matt had it, get the vt mounts and the oil leak checked by Bill or a local garage.

Stupac, how do you like and rate your hybrid setup? I got my turbo this week, getting it mapped in january so would like to hear your comments about it. What turbo you running(CR or TD ko3 hybrid)?
