I am in the process of upgrading my car, I have posted the possibilty of buying a Cupra 16V, just seeing what I can do to it.

I really like the idea of getting an Mk3 dash inside.

So what are the best mods you's recommend???

exhaust system and decat !!!

all day long !!

obviously you have cams and chargers ect but i feel a ss exhaust system would fall under the induction kit and bolt on bracket so i would say that. Most noticable mod i ever did anyway.

I also like Coilies, although am doing research as to how much they are gonna be, and maybe getting polo ones, (although read about the the difference in weight between the two)

don't get polo ones, get the proper ones, and if your gonna do, do it right! save up until you can afford the better ones, as the more you spend, the better the ride!

I had TA's for £215, were fine and never caused me any problems. Some swear by them others hate them. I personally would buy another set tomorrow.....the more you spend the better it gets.

DON'T I have a MK3 as well as a MK2 and the MK2 is a much nicer dash. The MK3 one rattles, the finish is no where near as nice, and the climate control is dyslexic at best! Also over riding thing would be is you'd have to change the rest of the interior and the MK3 dash had a built in head unit which is difficult to get round unless you really bodge it.
