Love this to bits already, such a big step up from my Sony CDX-F7500. This is my first head unit that needs a juicy feed to the battery. Took the lower drivers side dash off to reveal the power block, put my constant live on the right hand side 30A terminal and used the earth point to the right hand side of the steering column.

Got it all installed and realised the head unit wasnt turning off when the car keys removed....so took it back out and used the Autoleads ISO adaptor, the switching live now works when I take my car keys out!!

Just need to measure the distance from each speaker to my ear now so I can set it all up properly.

Edit** I no longer need the aerial booster jobby either......My old Sony must of had a weak tuner.

Why did you get the brembo discs mate? What was the reasoning behind it? Also how does the allard pipework connect to the intercooler? If the silicone raps around he plastic be very carful not to break it otherwise you will be in a world of hurt.

Reason for Brembo? Most likely the reputation Brembo has, the price was good - they look different with the curly grooves and I like to support brands that deliver.

The Allard pipework will connect to the SFS billet/silicone connections I already have....

Diagram time lol

Intercooler > SFS billet > SFS Silicone > Allards kit

Good diagram eh!! lol

Hi pal just reading about your remap and clutch replacement. My clutch and dual mass flywheel have gone prior to a remap. Just wanted to ask how much it was for your clutch and did you replace the dual mass flywheel or go for solid flywheel. Thanks cracking car.

Hi, thanks for the positive comments.

I didnt replace my flywheel as it looked in good condition. The clutch cost me about £700, a place called JBS did mine
