as you can see passengerside headlamp has cleared up nicely but the same cant be said for the driverside, was treated the same way but unfortunetely no luck and still condensates, not quite as bad as it did but still not great.

Looking brilliant with the splitter back on, what colour did you use to paint the bottom bumper lip?

After gettin told by my fellow Scottish friends at the meet last night, i decided to ditch my induction kit this morning , fuel was going down too fast so was told to buy a panel filter and put standard airbox back in, so decided i would spruce it up a bit with some paint and then put it in, oh i realised u gotts remove ur strut brace as it wont fit in otherwise, kinda wasted the painted oil cap a bit trying to get it in with the strut on, owell. Anyways panel filter isnt here yet but a couple of days and it will be. Hopefully i will soon see a difference in fuel, going to put some redex in and also some super unleaded to clean the injectors.

You can even get that sort of stuff in Tesco and Asda, as far as I remember round my way Tesco sells the Redex stuff and Asda sells the Wynns Stuff, other than that 98% petrol stations will sell it...
There's always Halfrauds...

got a loan of my mates scangauge today too see if i wanna buy one, think its setup correctly but my average MPG for today is sitting at 23!!!! shocking, and thats we driving very sensibly to try get it as high as possible, i have it another couple of days i think so will see how it changes, it actually went down 1mpg from filling up with superunleaded to home, about 2 miles from station, wierd. my mate says i should consider replacing the oxygen sensor and maybe the mass air flow sensor aswell incase they are not reading correctly and overfueling the car when not on full throttle, anyone know if the beezas have 1 or 2 oxygen sensors? i know my mates mini has 2 but he said it can vary from car to car

They have two, one on top of the cat (which you see when u lift the bonnet) and the other is on the downpipe.
I had the same problem with fuel Scott, and I went about changing everything on the 1.2 BUT never seemed to make a difference.
you've taken off the air filter which will help, what I would do is now clean the throttle body with carb cleaner and a toothbrush, then drive the car for a long distance so the ECU can adapt to standard filter and new driving style. If you have vag com then reset throttle body alignment.
Secondly what you need to remember is the extra weight of your alloys; make a big difference on fuel!
Finally you may think that your driving sensible (that’s what I thought and I was always getting 250miles to the tank, now I get 330) but you’re not actually. You want to be in 5th gear at 45mph to save as much fuel as possible and avoid braking...plan ahead. Conserve your speed so your car can slow down on the approach to junctions/lights etc.
Sorry about the lengthy reply but thought it would be useful.:D
