Never thought it would happen to me!
 Came to SCN looking for an answer to a simple question, but after a while on here you get hooked. Never thought about mods before but you guys have changed all that.
Badges came off and Splitter went on, the start of another money drain. Cheers lads:clap:

Fabia wiper!! the first mod i did because of this site. Never turned back

Thought of a boost gauge with nomad pod and a audi s3 upper strut brace??

Yup pod etc considered as a newy ear's pressy to my self once I finish building a staircase for a client.

Same here, came on looking for advice about my leaky seals. Then it went to doing the smaller cheaper mods, like the wipers etc. Now i'm looking at a remap, HIDs / Angel Eyes and more :( lol

That's what I came here for too, and been hooked ever since.

But SCN has saved me money because I've done the door seals, thermostat, MAF and TB clean (which sorted my boost problem), climate control replacement all myself instead of asking the garage. About to do front brakes and discs this weekend hopefully and maybe regrease the rubber stops. In fact the only mod I've done is the rear wiper and that didn't actually cost much over a replacement stealer one! All not bad for someone who had only managed an oil change before!

That said I do frequently get lost in the remap and upgrading threads. It will no doubt be a matter of time before the cars starts costing me a small fortune!
