Just gone out to start the car and it wont.

The doors open on the key fine and all the lights on the dash work when i turn the ignition on also the middle screen all works and i can hear the cd changer working in the boot.

The clock had reset to 00:00

Also for the past day or so when i switch the car on the cdchanger had gone back to disc 1 not sure if thats anything to do with it?

The starter motor was making a noise like it was trying to start but after turning the key a few times the starter motor doesnt seem to try much now (flat batery?)

Am i just looking at a flat/fcuked battery? Or something else to try?

If it is the battery do i have to buy a special one as i see the fuse box is mounted on top of it or will any battery that size fit in there just the same?

Oh and its a Mk3 Cupra.

Thanks for the help
