Leon 1.8T Chargecooler

For various reasons... I'm wondering if anyone has seen a chargecooler for the Leon 1.8T?

FMIC fitment is a challenge on my Leon, so looking for other ways of keeping it cooler.

Anyone seen one?

Or a 'universal' type kit that I could bastar-dise to suit?

why is fitting an FMIC a challenge on your car?

I know fitting the PA was an absolute bitch on mine due to its design which was meant for the facelifted Leons and not my pre facelift

Headlamp washers & I think the tank is a lot bigger too.

Otherwise I'd get a forge one & be done with it - easy fitment.

I think Bill runs one on his wife's Lupo, Mark. Might be worth asking him.

Yeah, Bill's one runs the Pace Ibiza one - which is OK because the inlet manifold is the right way round for that.

I might end up getting one made to my spec, fitting where the OE intercooler goes, using the washer fluid tank as the 'water' tank & fitting a small water rad across the front.

It won't be as good as an FMIC I'm sure.

WMI on a OE intercooler?

Would only be a Stage 1/2 remap anyway... But that would be a damn sight easier / quicker to install & maintain.

A couple of the Aeon owners run chargecoolers. Although the charge piping's not the best.
