Have you done all the bypass and everything.??

The N249/N112 would be the first place id be looking for split hoses etc.

what is the code? Because as is mentioned on here about a zillion times, is that when the valves are replaced by resistors every so often a code jumps up. Clear it and you're rid of it for x number of time again...

P1288...Thought you said in your original post that it was P1287 but both them codes have nothing to do with the N249 anyway..

Had a look for you and the original code you said comes up as

P1287 Turbocharger bypass valve open. Which im sure is just a fancy way of saying your D/V may be at fault.

P1288 is Turbocharger bypass valve short to B+

Both 1288 and 1287 point towards the D/V anyway have a check of the hoses and the valve itself...try a leak test on the valve aswell.

Yea when a mate did a scan he got P1287 and am getting P1288. So its dump valve related then. Right i will give the hoses leading to the dump valve a look.

How do i leak test the dv mate??

Isnt the leak test - remove the dump vavle and block off the pipe, clear the code. If it comes back, it cant be the dump valve..

But they where really helpful and i ended up buying the cold side relcation while i was on the phone lol.

Ah right didnt realise you had the splitter version...assumed it was the 007p as 95% of people run them.

The coldside kit should make your d/v a bit louder...Still not as loud as my turbosmart one is though..:p
