Does anyone know if the exhaust is covered by your 3 year warranty?
Noticed today that the back box has a big hole in it.
The car will be three years old in Feb next year and I would expect the exhaust to last longer than that.
If not any idea what an exhaust will be a for a 1.4 Dab?

Cheers.

Norrie.

im 90% certain it is, generally the only things that arent covered are things that can be classed as wear and tear (brake pads, tires, wipers) be careful that they dont try and pass it off as acccidental damage which is possible

not sure, but id say it should be.

Many after market exhausts ( and not just stainless systems) give you a 2-3 year warranty.

I'd accept nothing but a lifetime guarantee.
You could argue with your exhaust that its failed within its warranty period and as your car is standard and you've never scraped the bottom of the car on anything there's no reason for this to fail other than a fault that's existed since the time you bought the car.

If this is the case and you bought the car new its covered by the trades description act as it was an underlying fault with the car that existed upon purchase and surfaced recently.
Theres no reason an exhaust should corrode/fail in three years to be honest.
