Wow, just spent AGES reading up on this thread; well worth every minute! Nice work DK.

First Carbon Fibre mod for me was the desktop background

DK, the car (BMW?) in this Detailing World thread should give some idea, surely? Personally I think a carbon roof would look great on yours, but better on mine :D

You've seen it "in-the-metal"? What more do you need to see? :D That would be enough for me. I wouldn't do the bonnet though, not with a CF roof. I think you'd end up with too much CF and not enough silver at that point. One or the other, and I think since we're used to seeing black/vinyl roofs already that it just looks like it's supposed to be like that, whereas CF bonnets look blatantly different, if you know what I mean. Personally I think your car looks great, but somewhat subtle. A CF roof would maintain that, but a CF bonnet would be very "in your face".

I honestly think the roof would look amazing. Call it the icing on the cake!

I was also running through the car's interior in my head last night and I thought the surround at the bottom of the gear-stick (I don't know what the proper name is) would look good in CF on yours (assuming I've not missed that you've already done it)

Hey, I found a piece of paper stuffed behind the instrument panel on mine when I bought it with directions to Santa Pod. What's the chance that it didn't go up the track?

I really like the interior touches mate as it breaks up all that black that you get in the LCR. How do you find it when tucking it around those smooth edges and how does the exterior stuff fair with the weather and cleaning?
