Hello everyone, my first post and it's a nasty one.
seat leon cupra 4 120K 150HP reprogrammed to 195. the turbo broke and took the enging with it.......
I have found a new engine but being as it is reprogrammed to 200 HP what kind of tubo should I put in???
If I put the standard turbo in (rated 150HP) I will probably risk losing it all again no????
help

Look for posts in this forum about hybrid turbo's mate, there have already been alot of people advising companies and options. It'll save them copy and pasting.

update...
my garage has found me an engine. It comes from a golf 5 TDI 2.0 (the car is a write off). The price is right
1100euro's with turbo and very low km's no more than 20000KM (much better than the 9000euro's without turbo or installation) from seat . My worry is the following. it seems to be a 140HP engine. Seeing as my car was remapped to 198 HP what happens when I replace a 1,9L 150BHP WITH A 2.0L 140BHP?????????.
The mechanic says that it will obviously keep the mapping, which makes sense but how will the engine react? is tis too much bhp for that engine? has anyone done anything similar?

I think to save a head ache your best off getting another 1.9 PD150 engine and turbo. Messing about with the 2.0 TDI's is going to get costly..

The PD140 BKD engine will not work with your ECU. If your garage doesn`t realise that they basically don`t know shite about diesel engines and quickly take your car somewhere else.

Advice from the man who knows best!!!

Get another 150 tdi engine, i dont even think the bkd lump will mate up with the 1m chassis. You'd have to get an engine from a mk4 golf for it to fit.
