Should my LCR have folding mirrors ??

Hi just wondering should my 2005 LCR have folding wing mirrors ? my friend seems to think it should, now i have looked in the manual and apparently it does have the function but was this a upgrade that my car hasnt got ??

It has the button for it but it doesnt work, so could it just be a fuse or something

Chances are the mirrors have been replaced for non electric folding ones.

My 2004 one does and as i understand the only optional extras where recaros. Maybe they have been in an accident and replaced with folding ones - gently check if they fold manually. Could be a fuse so check.

Don't kill me but some people have made this mistake before...

Have you turned the mirror adjuster knob right round to the bottom so the white dot is facing downwards, pointing to the mirror fold icon?

mine stop folding when the battery was taken out jus the simple thing of resetting them and they worked again only problem is dont know how they was resetted

Leave the switch in the open position (either left or right) and turn the ignition on for about 10 seconds.
That's how i have re-set mine in the past.

May i just say i feel like a 9ct **** head!! i have just twisted the switch all the way round and hey presto the mirrors folded in. I was just pulling it down and not twisting, so thanks Jamjay for correcting my stupidness.

Haha no worries, I think most of us made the same error when we got the car . Enjoy your new found gadget, I love it!

i knew make the mirrors fold when i got my car but couldnt work out how to get into reverse so i had to ring my mate who had a leon and ask him how you did it lol

Be a lot of wiring if it wasn't standard on the car.

I have electrically adjustable mirrors.....I can change the angle of the glass itself, but if I want to fold them in, I have to physically knock them in. I would love to have them so they fold in automatically like the LCR so when parked you are less likely to get them scratched etc. Didnt know if I can convert them?

If the car came standard with them (might have been replaced) it's a simple plug and play as the wiring is already there.

mine didnt come as standard i dont think.....its only a 110 tdi.
