Yeah that's not bad. Two black ones went out of my local dealer for 17.5k this month. And as above I am getting my white one for 16.5k, similar age and mileage to yours.

Don't i remember reading you had ordered the TT RS?

Aren't you worried some Chav may try to recycle it again?

What spec you got now? Xenons, BT, etc? :)

Out of intrest what didn't you like about the subaru? I drove the new hatchback sti and loved the steering feedback, sound and power!
Also the RS handled fast corners better with the trick diff...

However I'm really happy with the leon and would reccomend it. Owned golfs in the past but can't justify the extra the money now!

Well... I've done it!!

Now got a stunning White K1 sat on my drive!!

I think it looks great and have seen no others on the 380mile round trip (saw several new golf gti's, and a couple of new RS focus's)
that just adds to it!!

Anyone actually know how many K1's were released??

Can you get of of the 300 horse down...? Or does it cause a lot of front wheelspin??

I never had any issues myself in third with just the map, but then my car gets nothing but the best rubber. Just dont treat the accelerator as a on off switch in 1st and second.

Pricing for 2nd hand K1

Got a perfect condition K1 (Aug 2008 reg) in Black + 18" black alloys with less than 10k on clock for under £17000 and if anyone tries to compare a Golf in looks and performance tell them to get a reality check, the K1 has better performance /handling / comfort /PRICE / and is not as common therefore makes better eye-candy

The golf is just as good mate apart from the price.

the only upper hand we have over the ed30 GTI is bigger brakes and cheaper price. However they have the optional DSG.

i pick up my orange k1 2 days ago and love it to pieces recommend one anyday! mines 6months old with 2100miles cost me 20k

Thought the K1 was only available in Red Black and white?

White does seem to be the popular choice and tbh probably does look the best,

I went for red partly because I wanted to be individual as not many around.

For those that have it in speed blue and orange even more unique.

Back to the fred.

K1 resale now is holding high price as it's not made anymore.

Yopu may be better of buying a new cupra (as the suspension setup is slightly improved) and if you want the K1 look just order up the aero kit and stick it on.

If not look in the trade sections for a low mileage second hand K1. I think you will enjoy the motor.

The cupra is not without one or two small faults like most cars but if you intend tinkering them you will have a ball :)
