03' Cupra Turbo breather pipe (PCV Hose)

Hiya guys, i need some help. My turbo breather pipe has a really nasty split and there is a huge boost leak which is ruining the performance on my car real bad. Im after a nice solid silicone hose upgrade for that part but not too sure where to source it from. I had a look on ebay but theres nothing there for the newer AUQ code engines, there all for the older 1.8t lumps. Im sure someones had this problem in the past after mapping their cars and it would be much appreciated if they could tell me where they purchased it from. I have all the silicon autobahn hoses but the turbo breather pipe AKA the PCV hose doesnt come as part of that kit. Any help would be much appreciated guys.

Are you talking about the 'Y' shaped hose from the TIP to the cam cover and down to the PCV system?

Hi mate, thanks for the reply. Ive just been doing some research online and apparantly its called a 'block breather to the PCV system' Here is a link to a picture for your reference.

Trying to source the silicone hose is a right pain in the arse. Im really struggling to find one and i need one desperately. Someone please help....................

Oil breather pipe Awesome GTI sell silicon replacements.

As Adam says Awesome sell a silicon replacement which comes as two pips for £60+p&p I think (you should check).

I managed to purchase an Authbahn88 silicon oil breather of a seller on eBay called volksbits. He didn't have any for sales but managed to find a blue one for me. I am fitting a catch can at the weekend so I'll probably put it in the for sale section on Monday if everthing goes to plan. Not used, just test fitted to make sure it fits my AUQ LC.

Thank u so much guys, adam yet again mate you come to my rescue lol and jason thanks a lot buddy. Am i right in thinking seat will only sell the standard rubber pipe & not any type of silicon upgrade? I emailed volksbits last night and gave them their item number of the silicon upgrade they used to sell. It isnt on their listing anymore but im hoping they can get some more. Is this the listing your on about bud?

If so, not bad for £20. Jason I didnt quite understand what your putting up for sale on Monday? The catch can or the breather pipe? If its the silicon breather pipe then il most definitely take that off your hands. Also a quick question on the Awesome GTI hose, whats the 2nd hose for? I thought it was only 1 hose? And y isit £60?
Also one last thing, i've lost sh*t loads of performance and boost, i can actually feel it. The tear in this pipe is real big, this could be the main reason right for me losing so much boost? Its really really bugging me right now, having a car not performing at full boost is a pain in the arse, lol. Thanks again guys.

Thats an oil breather pipe when mine split I didn't really notice a great loss in performance......I only noticed it when I did an oil change.

Yes the stealers only sell the standard pipe and its £27

Yeh adam ive just seen the awesome GTI one, not bad. Im gona wait for volksbits on ebay to get back to me and see if they can source it for me. Also Jason might whack his up for sale on these forums if i read right so might just wait for his. Cheers again.

I will be selling the silicon pipe... it cost me £24 (20 + 4p&p) so I'd be looking at the same; maybe a little more to cover the additional postage because I would send it using a courier considering the current Royal Mail strike.

If all goes to plan I won't need the pipe and will drop you a PM before listing in the for sale section.

yeh kl dude. Il take that off your hands if volksbits dont get back to me. Either way if you get it up for sale before they get back to me than il most definitely take it off you. Whereabouts you based? If you aint too far i could even come and collect.

Quick question for you adam & Jason. Awesome GTI sell this part like you mentioned with another hose that sits underneath, according to them that hose also goes somewhere along the line, any what pipe that it? I might consider purchasing that aswell if thats the case? Have you's had any problems with that hose aswell or is that just awesomegti tryna make a few bob?

I only replaced the top one but I know its quite common for the one under it [that it joins to] to also fail.

Jason mate, volksbits just got back to me. Ther currently out of stock and becuase of postal stike are awaiting to find out when they are expecting delivery so he thinks 2 weeks.
