Right, my next task is to remove the 6-Disc CD changer in the glovebox, as the space will get more use then the CD changer will. Once again any help appreciated

Yes the one in the middle of the dash, the relay keeps clicking at random (like your indicators are on) and its driving me mad. Just hope that changing it fixes it and its not the indicator stalk at fault.

Whats all this about the heated rear window switch.......whats the difference between mine and the timer one ?

the timered one has a timer on it, and yours doesn't! which means you turn yours off manually whereas that one will turn itself off.

There's a relay you can get from VW which turns your indicators one touch, keep meaning to order it and keep forgetting.

Ok thanks, will add it to the list.

Heres a pic of the changer removed and new lining in. Still a very small glovebox.

not only do you find it very small, there is no light in there. great fun in the dark...

yes, rear window heater switch is currently manual. swap for and turns it self off after 9mins.
seat being penny pinchers, along with bonnet dirt protector strip.
for details look for a thread: what switch goes here, last page or next in.
