warning light?? please help

Hi all, I recently bought a 2003 leon cupra r 225. Last night a yellow warning light came on, on the dash, it is on the 2nd row 4th from the left. It is a circle with 3 dashed lines on either side. As the previous owner lost the hand book I cant find out what it is.

CAN ANYBODY HELP?

sounds like brake pad wear light....

well thats a bit crap the guy told me it had all new discs and pads recently, prat for not checkng properly i supose,

yep deffo brake pad wear sensor !!!!! just looked in me manual

he lied, or the sensor is goosed.... simple visual check will tell if pads are dead though..

If the new pads are without a sensor in, Then you need to do this:-

nope, red light flashes 3 times, same as handbrake light.
