Can I fit the twin headlamp lights to my car? - I only have the single lamp H4 units.

Reason being I've just fitted HID's to my car but now I have no "flash" or full beam as the HID's only plug into the positive and negative points on the headlight plug, no wire for the full beam controller.

I know the twin unit will physically fit but hat implecations would this have on the wiring behind the units?
Is this goign to prove to be a monster job - has anyone tried this before?
Am I best buying another set of HID's (Bi-Xenon) instead?

Is there a wire on the HID units for the full beam controller ? - if yes then it will plug in to the other positive connector in the H4 connector block.

The H4 connector block has three connectors - positive for low beam, positive for high beam and a common negative.

It would be easier and cheaper to get bi-xenons than to change the headlights and swap all the wires around to feed a pair of H7 bulbs in each light unit.

Nope only got two wires, so technically two choices, have dipped beam on no high beam or, high beam only....

Well impressed with the light *quality*, can now see what everybody is raving about with them, defo the best money you can spend on a car! :funk:

Hmmm... That one doesn't look to have the ballasts? or maybe I'm missing them in the pics?

One of my main beam bulbs just blew last night - tossing up whether to buy HID and go through the hassle of fitting them or just buy a couple cheapo bulbs for the moment and scrape my knuckles replacing them anyway??

I have bulbs and ballasts at the moment, the bulbs I have don't attachment for the full beam.
I'm just hoping the connection in the ballasts are all the same for all HID kits / manufactures...

In response to maybe getting HID's I would say do it, the difference is worth it definitely the best mod you can do for the money.

whats a bi-xenon kit different to the usual HID's you get?

These bulbs have a solenoid in them that moves the bulb element if you like between dipped beam and main/full beam.
Something most Xenon bulbs until now haven't been able to manage.

Problem is there are MILLIONS of different sellers online selling this very type of product and it is difficult to filter out where to buy from, I suppose it all boils down to how much money you want to spend on them.

yeah i had noticed there is alot of people selling HID's. might be worth emailing the seller explaining the situation and asking if his are compatible. alot of the HID kits usually state that they are hi-low beam kits, or just low.
