My new Ibiza seems really hot in the cabin & no the heaters not on. I am loath to put the air con on.... any ideas, is this normal?

have you got the temp dial turned down to minimum, even with the fan speeds off if the temp is set to warm it'll end up warm in the cabin.

can you not lower the temperature without turning the air con on? I've not got the climate pack but if you can't just blow cool air in without having the air con on then i'm glad i went for old-skool dials

This

If you've left the heater on hot and then turned the unit off the hot air will still come through. Set the dial to 19-20 and set it to auto and see what happens.

I've got climate control, so no dials to turn down?

If it works like the unit in my current cupra you can blow cold air in up to the outside air temperature (obviously) so if its over 11C outside you should get a nice cool air stream if you turn the temp right down to "Low"

We have climate control. Set the temp at 18 and press the auto button. If the A/C lights up turn it off by pressing the A/C button.
This setting keeps the car at 18 degrees so long as you have AUTO on the screen.
