hi all, ive just bought another mk1 cupra last week to replace my ovni yellow one which i sold to my mum and dad, i wanted another as they are great cars in my opinion and much better than a mk4 golf. I was hunting for one frantically for a couple of weeks and it was actually my mum who found my new car for me when she was out shopping!. She rang to say there was a bronze leon at a garage in ashton under lyne (not a car sales garage just an mot station) with a for sale sign on it. A quick call to them and a mad saturday morning blast across manchester and id bought it! I have a feeling it may have belonged to a user from this site actually as there are some guides amongst the paperwork off here, it has been sensibly modified and really well cared for and im more than happy with it.Briefly its got brembo brakes, a koni coil over kit, tt hubs, s3 braces, it has had the secondary air pump removed (which i dont fully understand the technicalities of!) rear bushes replaced, uprated dog bone mount , and a few more small tweeks i believe. Like i say its copper bronze and looks great on the koni kit and drives superb, much different to my standard yellow leon. I will try and post some pics up when i can as my camera is bust at the moment, thanks for reading.

cheers mate, yes its another colour that could split opinion! i got so much sh1t from my director at work about my ovni leon it was un true, but what can you say to some people they just dont understand and/or wont listen, great cars though arent they. i actually like my cars colour, pleased with it.

Yeah they do stand out.
Superb cars so glad i got one too.
Benefit would be it doesn't sound like a jet engine on start up and saves a bit of weight.
Down sides are you need resistor to stop the EML incorrect flow light coming on.
There easy to fix if they do break usually just £3.50 to replace the corroded rivets with bolts.

I personally love that colour! i have just bought my first leon! cracking car so far! i also have an Audi 1.8T but the leon seems to handle better!
