I just had a new 2.5" turbo back system installed on my Leon cupra, but the garage told me they used the old gasket on the turbo. Ive noticed for the first 20 mins of driving the car splutters under boost but is fine after its very hot. Anybody think the gasket could be the problem? Thnx in advance. :)

When the gasket has gone, the noise it makes is unbearable, sounds like a hotrod only 100X louder, it may be leaking a little further down the system, why didnt they change it for the sake or a few pounds while it was all off, them gaskets get so hot, its stupid not to.

I have no idea why they didnt change it and i wasnt too happy that they didnt, and i never had a problem with running lumpy before under boost. After 30 mins of driving i notice no problems

Any news on this yet mate?

Im not sure how to test the sensors but i have booked her back in the garage who did the work to fix a rattle so i will ask them then. After 30 mins of driving she doesnt missfire at all.

I have noticed my boost sound has got allot louder lately and kinda distorted sounding, so i may ask them to replace the turbo gasket anyways.
