exhaust options

ugys, my exhaust needs replacing and britannia have quoted me £700 for a cat back system

can you guys recommend me where to get a replacement one from.

a local place from me called custom-chrome have quoted my bro £350 for a cat back system for his a3 1.8T, so i am guessing its gonna be the same.

so, if i am gonna be spending £350 then i might as well get a good system so please advise.

milltek cat back comes in at 320 plus fitting.

blueflame aswell, jetex, piper, scorpion....all quality items.

search on here for info, loads on it.

I'd be looking into Blueflame or Piper if i was you.

Custom powerflow turbo back system -- no mufflers (not sure on cost got mine second hand) set car alarms off for miles ;D awesome! though not so cool on a long journey though lol

i dont want a loud exhaust boom note at all, i prefer the quieter option but i deffo want a nice exhaust sound! will check out a few websites to see what i find and once i have found one will try and get some info on it posted.

been looking on the r-tec website in hinckley and i might just pay them a visit as golf mk4 milltek cat back systems are between £350-£400 fitted. i have emailed them as they are not showing anything for Seats and millteks are the only name they do.

Powerflow, £260 fitted catback system custom made with 2 freeflowing back boxes. they can make it as loud or as quiet as possible. go on thei webpage. Well worth it, really happy with mine, look on my thread.

if you go down the powerflow route ask how they bend the pipework. not all mandrel bend it some do crush bend which restricts the flow.

i went for milltek resonated, not much louder than OEM

Very nice, I had a powerflow striaght through no cat on my celica, the noise was tooo much, Thats why i've gone for quite.

milltek no res. had mine on for 10k and sounds really nice without being loud
