bigger turbo?

Hi, can anyone tell me where i can get a garrett GT28 turbo and manifold to fit my MK1 leon cupra (not R) as standard turbo is runnin 19psi and im not sure how much longer it will take it i want it to fit straight on and not have to uprate the internals

Don't think you could go far wrong with Badger5, JBS and other sponsors on SCN, TBH I've just been quite fancying one of these myself recently.

You need quite a lot mate fmic full exhaust new down pipe to suit turbo new tip new maf new turbo new map these are 500 plus I have prob missed a few things out as well . I have e mailed back draft abd that was there figures . If it was all as simple as bolting a turbo on we would all be driving 600+bhp lcrs lol

I'd say a gt28 turbo and high flow manifold must be £1200ish on its own?

hhhhhhhmmmmm, well i have got stage 2 map and now want more power but without the hassle of changing injectors and pistons. my mate has got a gt28r and his only cost £600 and that was for a 200sx and saw the turbo and didnt think it was that big. maybe a K04 turbo would suit more then?

You can get your ko3 s hybrid but you still need maf and few other bits all in all think you can gen one for 1500 ish look in badger bill section and jbs on here mate

yeah the ko3s hybrid basically is a k04 so you'll still need the other stuff.

Your basically changing to a LCR turbo so need LCR parts to match it....

With a KO4 or KO3 hybrid I think you basically have st start again?

LCR MAF
LCR injectors
Different manifold.
Different or bigger downpipe?
You'll need a different filter if your getting a bigger diameter MAF
Think you need LCR fuel pump to?
And a FMIC

And a custom map.

Just noticed that cover over your filter! where did you get that from mate I been after one of them for a while now but all I can find are filter socks.

well, i have had air filters on my previous cars and it always used to have leaves and all that stuck in the slots, so i thought in theory to leave it on to stop it getting alll that mess there
