which spring.. green? are the logs with the brand new forge dv or oem valve

yeah tip will increase airflow.

maf levels still low for stage 1 map with forge tip.

was it a oem bosch maf you used?

Its was with green, ive tried the next hardest (think its yellow). no different but the dv dont sound more resposive than the green.

Forge TIP wont increase airflow, just smooth it out.

Get a open cone filter, the bigger the better :)

surely increasing the airflow to the turbo? shouldnt affect maf readings though, as its after the maf?

cone filter with some sort of heat shield if its gonna be cossie big.

maybe try a phenolic gasket to decrease temps a little.. relativly cheap little mod.

when was the cai last cleaned(serviced)

around 2 months ago, when the bumper was off, still looked mint

yeah, but maybe look for a heatshield of some sorts... mine hasnt got one and i reach peak maf readings still.

Yeh may try that. im not in for the sound but the max gains from it.

run a decent cold feed to it aswell mate, possibly from where your cai is now to the new open cone.

try this and then relog to see difference

you said you logged when it was 21 degrees... do some more logs now its definatly that warm.. but with fmic it shouldnt matter, but new logs would be good

Give that a shot over the weekend.

Yesterday i removed the evap, and it triggered two faults.

No, it does not increase air flow.

I have a graph of my MAF before and after fitting my Forge TIP

shall i just stick straight on the maf? should worry too much about the heat soak as i fitted fmic to it?:think:

My filter is straight off the MAF and so are lots of other peoples, without any problem.

Dont wory about heat soak. Dont think a little warm air being dragged into the filter is going to make a difference to the temp of the air leaving the turbo :)

Well i fitted boost controller so i can stablise the boost, but every time it goes near a 1bar it goes into limp mode. It some times goes into limp mode when im in higher gears but it only boost to around 0.6bar before limping. the boost controller is only set to 1bar, it does hold but on occasion it goes on limp mode, so have knocked it down.

are those logs on full throttle? look to be taking long time from 1600rpm to 5900??

also, maybe started run a little early, and not quite too redline..

Yeh they were on full trottle, (2nd log i did easy of abit). Due to road i couldnt take it to the whole 6k redline
