Looking good fella, nice shine going on there. That's one of the best things about having a dark coloured car, when you do give it a good wash and wax it looks like a mirror, very hard to get the same look on mine being yellow lol.

I used AG extra gloss protection after, as this polish washes off quite easy and reveals the swirls again. EGP slows that down a lot

Hmmm - well Im new to this level of Polishing on the Alhambra & having to use some Autoglym paint renovator on most of it before hand - (Just to be sure I had 'cleaned' it) The whole process took nearly the full day! - Knackered...

So for next time perhaps a layer of this Extra Gloss or as Mark does use it as a pre wax .. AutoGlym?? Or another polish Mark... As hopefully the process shouldn't take so long!!!

I tend to use AG UDP, followed by Poorboys black hole as a glaze, sometimes I use Chemical Guys Wet Mirror finish as a sealant, but whether I seal it or glaze it I always top it off with a coat of Rubbishboys Juiced Edition wax.

It knackers me every time but the car really looks fantastic for 10 minutes at least until the dust settles on it. I hate black :p Looks awesome when its clean, but so rarely stays that way.

The polish and glaze you don't need to do all that often if you use a sealant/wax. As long as you use a wax safe car wash then top up the wax coat. I get a couple of months out of mine before I re-polish and re-glaze.

I tend to do it more often in the spring/summer to keep it looking its best. But I always give it a good going over around now, strip it back and redo everything, then I'm unlikely to do much more than washing it and topping up the wax over the winter months.

Meguirs do a 3 stage polish, its a cleaner, then polish, then wax. If you are just looking for good results with minimal effort this shouls suit you and low budget if req'd

Colinite 476 is the best wax for the money if you don't want to be waxing every month because its detergent proof. I use poorboys polish first, followed by the 476 wax and it genuinely beads water off for months :)
