Yes i am 4th overall in my class in my first seizioen.
I can not get the tirdh place anymore, you can score a maximum of 42 points in a weekend.
The last race it will be hard to defend my fourth place, because number 5 is only 9 points behind and they ride a supercopa too for the third year, i hop i can stay in front.
But with two podiums in my first seizioen i am very happy

The program showed there is ALOT of money goes into this sort of racing.
Just hope it doesn't end up that you only win races if you have a big fat wallet.

It is very difficult as a privateer but i do my best.
No sponsors/companys in england wo wants to support me

I wouldn't know, I'm Scottish, lol

You could try David @Sere Motors, he's the parts Manager, used to be the service manager.
There forum sponsors and might manage to get you cheaper bits and inturn supply race spec bits for the MK2 Leon guys
I work for a company that has a Dutch office but times are hard just now and there has been some big management shake ups so would doubt it would be worth asking them.

No saterday and sunday are the races on assen
one or two weeks later they are on tv

Last weekend where the last two races.

Friday the free practice went well untill the dsg gearbox stopped.
A lot of strange noises, car on the ambulance and we brought it by TVS in Aalten.
The looked at the gearbox an tried to fit a normal gearbox, no change, the gearbox has died

Luckely the team wher i drive has a backup car, also a supercopa.

So i could start the first race from behind and climbed to 8th plzac.

Sunday i started from 8th plce and i had a bad start but could recover and finished at 4th plce.

Overall i am 4th in the championship in my first year.

This winter we are going to work hard to make it faster and maybey i can fight for the championship next year

I had a very bad start, wrong gear
The mini i do not now.
The other leon had a failure in the fuelpomp.

A little busy lately with the garage to work on the supercope.
Preperation for 2010 is in progress.
The first race in 2010 is on silverstone

Will be keeping a very close eye on this thread, fantastic work and I hope you can work out some sponsorship for next season, surely you can use the 4th place in your first season to your advantage!
