im doing more miles for work now and its costing to much, its not the type of car i can keep for weekends and get a run around, i went through that with my focus rs, my next car will be kept for 2 years then i will get a company car and something nice for the weekends like an exige.

for now its a fiesta zetec s tdci, 65mpg and £35 tax, and they are holding value, cant go wrong,

Don't pin your hopes totally on tomorrow Nev, let downs aren't nice.

However, he'd be a fool not to have it, it's been lavished care, attention and most of all money. I know this as we're both of the same mind! :)

Back from the dead
:headhurt:

Been in your shoes, sold my LCR, and 5 months later I sold the new TDi we'd just purchased and bought another LCR as it just wasn't for me (albeit a Ibiza TDi FR, not a Festa).

Best of luck with it. I suppose the world was a better place when I did the change (2005), and not SO expensive as it is today fuel / tax wise (Cheers for that Gordon Brown).

Big shame your having to sell it bud but the right move.
For a track car they are good but not the best.
Now an Exige is a proper car.
I'm thinking about one of these next with my LCR engine in it with a BT conversion.

all the best bud

J/K I'm sure you still have plenty of advice left to give on tints and gauge vents :D

cheers guys yes will still be on now and again as ill still make the vents.

i was thinking of keeping the lcr a couple more years till the company car comes but ill get more money now and that goes toward the exige fund, i know driving the fiesta will be a big change but a fully loaded one will help.

willie.. i still love the old exige more then the new, but couldnt be doing with a rover engine so bring on the supercharged honda engine.

Sounds like a plan.

Give it a few years and perhaps I'll have an Exige with my 1.8T engine and a GT2871R.
Would be good to see this against a supercharged VTEC:)
