Forge Golf TIP - Good Or Bad?

mine, as well as missing the dump valve noise i also think it looks a bit bland with the standard airbox

Digging up an old thread but could you still still get a stalling issue with the DV too close to the MAF even if the DV was relocated to the cold-side?

thats what im using pal and had no problems yet touch wood . good for money when it does exactly the same as forge i dont understand. you say bout maf issues i havnt had that either im not causing a dilema im just saying mate thats mine is fine and doin is job;)

and it was easy to install and ive fitted a forge to a mates car and that one to mine identical apart from colour lol

You dont have a Forge/Samco Golf tip tho.

The orginal samco tip had to have the inlet trimmed a lot, because it rubbed on the ABS hoses and the DV was too close to the maf along with the breathers being further away and an extra port to blank off.

Yours looks like a different design.

mine is autobahn 888 mate yes these have to be trimmed too . and exactly the the same as my mate on golf has one. thats all im saying mate is mine is fine and had no problems with it so fingers crossed mate.
